About the Bible Lesson
The Bible Lesson provides fresh inspiration for daily study each week and on Sunday becomes the sermon preached in Christian Science churches. The spiritual truths in these Lessons have brought comfort, guidance, support, and healing to readers for more than one hundred years and continue to do so today. Lessons are prepared from the King James Version of the Bible and from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

| Church PastorThe Christian Science Church does not have an officially ordained clergy. Church services are conducted by two "Readers" who are elected by and from the church membership.
One reads from the King James Version of the Bible and one reads from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health With Key To the Scriptures", by Mary Baker Eddy. These two books are the official Pastor of the church. The sermons at all Sunday morning services, as well as readings at Wednesday evening Testimony Meetings, are from these same two books.
